Before your first wash
Let the coating cure as instructed. KADZ will explain when you can drive, expose the finish to water and wash it, based on the coating applied and working conditions. If you are unsure, message us before washing.
A gentle hand wash
Wash regularly, on cool panels out of direct sunlight. Rinse away loose dirt first, then use a coating-safe, pH-neutral car shampoo and a clean microfibre wash mitt. Keep a separate rinse bucket and separate tools for the wheels. Work from the top down without scrubbing.
Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean, soft microfibre drying towel or suitable air blower. Avoid letting water dry on the paint, which can leave mineral spots.
What to avoid
Avoid automatic brush washes, rough sponges and household detergents. Do not polish or clay the coated paint without advice: abrasive treatment can affect the coating. Ask KADZ before using a new cleaner, sealant or ceramic booster.
Bird droppings, bugs and road grime
Remove contamination promptly and gently. Soften it with water or a suitable coating-safe cleaner before rinsing; never scrape or rub dry dirt across the paint. Contact KADZ if marks or bonded contamination remain.
Long-term protection
Coating makes maintenance easier, but your car still needs regular cleaning. If water beading changes or the finish feels rough, ask us to assess it before applying more products. A professional maintenance wash may help remove built-up contamination.
