Can you work at flats or at my workplace?
A private parking bay or workplace car park may be suitable if there is permission, safe access and enough room to work around the vehicle. Send a photo of the space and tell us about permits or restrictions so we can confirm before booking.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please remove valuables and personal belongings, arrange any required parking permission and leave safe access around the car. Remove child seats where possible; we do not dismantle safety equipment. We bring our own water and power.
What happens at handover?
We inspect the finish with you, explain the work completed and discuss aftercare. Raise any immediate concern at handover so we can review it. The balance is due at completion unless agreed otherwise.
How much does car detailing cost?
Guide prices start at £150 for Full Detail, £399 for Stage 1 Paint Correction + 5-Year Ceramic Coating, and £899 for Full Exterior Protection on a small car. Select your car size to see the guide price; we confirm the exact quote from your vehicle details and condition before booking.
Are you insured?
Yes, KADZ has insurance. If you need details of the cover for your vehicle or booking, ask us before confirming the appointment.
Do I need to pay a deposit, and when is the balance due?
A booking deposit may be required for paint correction, ceramic coating and other long appointments. We confirm any requested deposit before you book; the appointment is secured once it is received. The balance is due at completion unless agreed otherwise.

Can I move or cancel my appointment?
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or failure to provide access may result in a deposit being retained; genuine emergencies are considered reasonably. Why does professional detailing cost more than a car wash?
A car wash removes surface dirt. Professional detailing safely decontaminates, corrects and protects the vehicle using specialist products, equipment and several hours of skilled work. The goal is a finish that looks better and stays easier to maintain.
How long does a detail take?
Allow around 4 hours for Full Detail, 5 hours for Stage 1 Paint Correction + 5-Year Ceramic Coating, and 10 hours for Full Exterior Protection. These are guide working times, not coating cure times. We confirm an estimate for your vehicle before booking and explain any shelter or curing requirements.
Do I need to provide water or power?
We bring our own water tank and power. You only need to provide a safe, legal working area with suitable access around the vehicle. Tell us about any parking restrictions before booking.
How long does paint correction take?
The Stage 1 Paint Correction + 5-Year Ceramic Coating package has a guide time of 5 hours, including preparation, polishing and coating. Full Exterior Protection has a guide time of 10 hours for the more extensive correction and protection. These are estimates for the complete packages; vehicle condition and size can change the time needed.
Do you clean engine bays?
Engine bay cleaning is not included in our services. We focus on paintwork, exterior protection and interior detailing; the package lists show exactly what is included.
Do you remove pet hair?
Full Detail includes a thorough interior vacuum, but pet hair removal is not a service we offer. If your vehicle has embedded pet hair, mention it when requesting a quote so we can explain what the detail can achieve.
Can I not achieve the same result by washing it myself?
Routine washing is important, but it cannot safely remove bonded contamination, correct swirl marks or apply professional long-term protection. We do the specialist work; you can then keep the result looking sharp with simpler maintenance.
How do I know I can trust you with my car?

How long does ceramic coating last?
The featured package includes a Gtechniq ceramic coating rated for up to 5 years with correct application and maintenance. Actual durability depends on use, exposure and aftercare. A durability rating is not a guarantee that the finish will remain unchanged for five years.

How do I care for ceramic-coated paintwork?
Follow the coating-specific instructions provided at handover, including when it is safe to wash the car. Use gentle hand-washing methods and suitable car shampoo, avoid abrasive brushes, and remove contaminants promptly. Coating makes cleaning easier; it does not replace regular maintenance.

Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?
No coating makes paintwork scratch-proof or prevents stone chips. Careful washing is still important, and deep existing scratches may be too severe to remove safely.
Does my coating include a warranty?
Warranty terms depend on the package and coating used. Ask KADZ to confirm the provider, duration, coverage and any registration or maintenance conditions before booking. The 5-year coating description refers to its durability rating; it should not be treated as an unconditional warranty.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Quality comes first. If rain, wind or temperature makes the work unsafe or compromises the finish, we will discuss suitable shelter or rearrange the appointment without unnecessary hassle.
